The Odyssey- My thoughts
Trying to put into words, The masterpiece of the Odyssey. This is one of Nolan's best films to date. I went into the Odyssey only knowing the basics of Greek mythology and not quite sure what to expect. And I can honestly same I was mind blown. And I can not get this film out of my head ,Nolan knows how to put a complex deep story on our screens and makes it look so easy. The films star studded cast, Matt Damon ( Odysseus ) Anne Hathaway ( Penelope ) Tom Holland ( Telemachus ) Robert Pattinson (Antinous) Jon Bernthal( Menelaus ) Zendaya ( Athena ) Charlize Theron ( Calpyso ) All give tremendous performances, I think it will shock people and how little some of the big names are in this film. But each left their marks with every scene. But for me the stand out characters of this film was Odysseus men.
