Criminal Minds Season 12 Episode 9- Profiling 202 Review
Criminal Minds returned from its Christmas break this week 04/01/17 in America/Canada with the 12th season episode 9 titled Profiling 202 The episode was written by Virgil Williams.
The episode was based around one of the many main characters "David Rossi" Played by Joe Mantegna.
The episode was based on a recurring storyline. One in which is to do with the season-long storyline of the escaped convicts in which the BAU are trying to find. This episode particular was based on Rossi.
The episode mainly consisted of Rossi,(Mantegna) Section Chief Emily Prentiss (Paget Brewster) and a new member of the team Stephen Walker (Damon Gupton)
I enjoyed the episode as I liked what it brought, lots of basic profiling and the team working together with lots of one on one scenes. I liked how it showed Prentiss, Rossi, and Walker teaching a class and using their current case to do it getting them to help solve it. It reminded me of the old episodes and all the profiling skills it showed the team using and what the job takes.
The episode was a great introduction for the new team member "Walker" (Gupton) As it showed his friendship and relationship with "Prentiss" (Brewster) and "Rossi" (Mantegna) and Some personal information. It was not overwhelming and I think his character will be a great addition to the team and cast.
Virgil Williams did a great job with this episode I enjoyed every minute of it. From the very start, it brought tension and a tight knot in your stomach. The entire episode was full of new twists and personal moments which defiantly gave me lots of feelings towards one of the best characters on the show.
Criminal Minds is back Wednesday 11/01/17 with its 10th Episode of the season tune in then.
Thanks for reading
